I should like to welcome you to the AIRSO Website and introduce you to the Association. AIRSO is the only individual Membership organisation of its kind, representing those who are in any way connected with the promotion and delivery of road safety education and training, road safety engineering and the enforcement of traffic law - all designed to reduce casualties on the busy and often congested roads in the UK.
Regular communication to members on a weekly basis keeps them up to date with current thinking, innovation and technological developments as the process of keeping all road users safe becomes more challenging in our ever changing society.
The Association also run a series of events for the benefit of the members throughout the UK, acting as it does as one single body rather than dividing into regional groups. So, whether it is a conference, seminar, workshop, breakfast meeting or a consultation on a specific road safety subject, there is something for all practitioners and the fact that you are visiting this site probably means that you ought to consider becoming a member of AIRSO.
The Association works on the premise of providing high quality at a low cost and is ideal for those who require Continuous Professional Development (CPD) within their own career.
So, if you can demonstrate that you are involved in any way in the promotion or delivery of road safety within your professional or voluntary work then you almost certainly qualify for Membership.
